Popular Krabi attractions are:

Ao Nang Beach. This is the most popular beach in Krabi Province. The long beach is flanked by huge karst limestone cliffs.

Railey Beach. You can stay on a resort at Railey or take a longtail boat from Ao Nang and spend the day there. This is a popular place for rock climbing.

Hat Noppharat Thara Beach. 18km west of Krabi, this is a quiet beach popular with local Thai's out for a picnic. A nice place to sit in the shade of a tree and try some local food. At low tide you can walk across to Khao Pak Klong Island just offshore.

Phi Phi Islands. Get there by fast or slow boat. Visit tiny paradise islands along the way for swimming and snorkeling. There are dozens of islands in the area to explore, which are popular Krabi diving sites

Koh Lanta. Further south the Lanta Islands are more laid back still. They have a backpacker vibe and some excellent diving.

Khao Phanom Bencha and Than Bokk-horani National Parks. Inland scenic attractions including waterfalls and caves, and opportunities for trekking and bird watching
