Baan Suay is our favourite lower budget resort in the Karon/Kata beach area of Phuket. 
The husband and wife owners, Daniel and Suporn, have created a very attractive resort that has a laid back atmosphere where you will be greeted and treated like friends. The staff are very helpful with any request you may have.

There are several room types, all stylishly decorated. The attached restaurant serves tasty Thai and European food. The bar is a popular hangout for local families. The lounge area is great for relaxing and chatting with new friends.
Karon beach is a few minutes walk away, as are local shops and restaurants. Kata, Naiharn, Patong and Rawai beaches are all a short drive away.

Location
Located in Karon on the west coast of Phuket, Baan Suay is a good base to explore the south west corner of Phuket. 
You can walk to Karon beach and local shops and restaurants. A short drive away are Kata and Naihard beaches, Promtep Cape viewpoint and Rawai with it's local seafood restaurants.
