The By The Sea Resort has one of Phuket's best locations. It is right on the beach front on Phuket's east coast. The pristine white sand beach is lapped by clear blue water. The sheltered location offers year round flat sea and sailing yachts anchor in the bay. The panoramic views of numerous small islands a short distance over the bay are breathtaking.

Khao Khard beach is undeveloped compared to Phuket's west coast beaches. There is no nightlife in this area. Entertainment is in the form of beach and water sports and eating at beach side restaurants.
If you need a bit more action than sitting on the beach the resort offers free use of sea kayaks, mountain bikes and snorkeling equipment.
There is also a swimming pool just two steps from the beach with an adjoined kids pool and a gym.
If you fancy indulging in a spa treatment the resort offers a free transfer to their spa on Karon Beach.

Location
By The Sea Resort is on the best beach on Phuket's east coast. Khao Khard beach is a world away from the busy west coast beaches.

Phuket International Airport: 50 minutes drive
Phuket Town: 15 minutes drive (free transfer from the resort)
Patong Beach: 45 minutes drive
Chalong Bay: 20 minutes drive
Cape Panwa: 5 minutes drive
Just over the headland is the beautiful Ao Yon (Yon Bay) which is another great beach with safe swimming in shallow water and has some fabulous (and cheap) little restaurants. Yon bay has a sailing school where sailing dinghy's can be hired.
5 minutes drive away at Cape Panwa is the Phuket Aquarium and Marine Biological centre which is pretty small but runs a nice turtle rescue program. There are always dozens of turtles in the tanks there.
On the hills behind Khao Khard is a viewpoint from where you can see virtually all of Phuket and across the surrounding islands.
Rooms
There are 24 Superior Rooms of approximately 60sqm. They have a living room and one separate bedroom. There are 12 Deluxe Rooms of approximately 120sqm each. Deluxe Rooms have 2 bedrooms for up to 4 people.
These rooms are more like serviced residences than hotel rooms. They feature European kitchens and refrigerator, satellite TV, IDD telephone and music system.
There is 24 hours room service.
