Ban Raya Resort is located on the beautiful Racha Yai island, a short boat transfer south from Phuket. Racha Yai Island (sometimes called Koh Raya Yai) is a tropical paradise surrounded by coral reefs and white sand beaches.

You can be pampered in the Green Sari Spa and indulge yourself with delicious food in a choice of restaurants. For the more energetic, there are plenty of activities to pass the time including SCUBA diving, snorkeling, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking or walking along the nature trails.
In the evening you can enjoy a meal at the Sa-Bieng restaurant in the resort or eat at the local beach restaurants. The Sabye Beach Bar on Kon Kare Bay is cool place to chill out with a cold beer.
Getting to Ban Raya Resort is easy by daily speedboat transfer that takes 30-40 minutes to do the 23km journey. The scheduled speedboat departs Chalong Bay on Phuket at 9am. The returning speedboat departs Raya Island at 3pm. Private speedboats can be hired for transfers at other times between 8am and 4pm..
If you prefer a more leisurely pace you can reach the island by traditional long tail boat which takes 1.5 hours.
Ban Raya resort is located on the south east side of Racha Yai Island in Khon Kare bay. The resort sits in 60 acres of coconut palms and tropical gardens. From the resort guests can walk to
Patok Bay which is perfect for swimming, snorkeling and diving. It has a long white sand beach and some small local restaurants serving tasty Thai dishes and cool drinks. Just 10 minutes away is Siam Bay which also has clear water for snorkeling as well as a unique diving attraction, underwater elephant statues.Ter Bay on the east side of Koh Racha Yai and nearby Lha Bay are great secluded getaways where you can sit on the beach and soak up the tranquility.

- One way scheduled speedboat transfer Chalong Bay Phuket - Ban Raya Resort or Ban Raya Resort - Chalong Bay is THB 800 per adult and THB 600 per child (4-12 years). Free transfer to/from hotels in Kata, Karon, Chalong and Patong Beach areas. Transfers from other hotels arranged at extra charge.

Rooms
The Baan Raya Resort offers 48 bungalows set in 60 acres of lush tropical gardens. All bungalows are less than 2 minutes walk to the beach.
All bungalows at the resort have a private bathroom, a balcony and mosquito screens. There are several bungalow styles. We recommend the larger Deluxe and Deluxe Pavilion rooms which have 24 hour air conditioning
