Phuket Island Private Tour

As you can imagine, there is a lot to do & see in Phuket. Some of the attractions are very touristy and other places are a little off the beaten track. We know where to be at what time at popular attractions to avoid the "Big crowd" and we know the places which are hard to find and that not many know about.

Private Half Day Tour

If you don't plan to fill a whole day with an excursion or you don't have enough time for the full day trip, you still have the option to book your half day private minibus sightseeing tour. In this way you can wake up later or keep the afternoon free for other activities. With this tour you can get a really nice global taste of the main beauties offered by Phuket Island and enjoy a tasty meal in a local Thai restaurant.

Choosing the morning tour you have the opportunity to visit the most interesting places on the island and be free after a nice Thai lunch. Joining the afternoon tour is possible for example to witness a breathtaking sunset, visit the famous "weekend night market" in Phuket Town (after 5pm) and have a dinner in a sea view restaurant.

Full Day Tour

In a full day with your private minibus sightseeing tour you can get a really nice global taste of the main beauties offered by Phuket Island. Will be possible to visit many places such as peaceful waterfalls in the jungle, the magic Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, the charming old part of Phuket Town with its Sino-Portuguese architecture, the most important Buddhist temple on the island "Wat Chalong", the "Big Buddha" (largest Buddha statue in Thailand with its 45 meters height) on a mountain top, breathtaking viewpoints as the Promthep Cape with its unrepeatable sunsets, some of the more secluded beaches.

There are also many museums waiting to be visited, like the Talang National Museum, the Tin Mining Museum and the Thai Hua School Museum. Phuket also offers some valuable shopping opportunities such as the big mall Phuket Central Festival or the famous "night market" in Phuket Town (Saturday and Sunday, after 5pm).

Phuket Sightseeing Spots

Tours to Phuket Town

Phuket Town

Discover Old Phuket Town - A town that has some character, some history and some interesting old architecture.

You will find temples, Chinese shrines, local markets and lots of small, unique bars, cafes and shops hiding up and down narrow back streets. If you want to see some real Thai life, Phuket has it everywhere.

We do recommend a walkabout; however it can be done by car, by motorbike or bicycle as well. Let us know and we will organize a tour for you.

Kata View Point, Phuket Thailand

Phuket View Points

Phuket has plenty of hills and viewpoints. Phromthep Cape & Kata View Point are probably the most visited places now followed closely by Big Buddha Hill and they should be on your island tour list.

Not as popular; but also offering excellent views are Rang Hill & Monkey Hill in Phuket Town or Radar Hill, the hill overlooking Patong Beach.

View over Wat Chalong, Phukets biggest Buddist Temple

Temples & Shrines

Discover on your tours some of Phuket's many Buddhist Temples. The largest is Wat Chalong, which can be quite busy with locals and tourists, but every area has its own small temple, if you want more of a local flavour and a bit of history.

Also very interesting are the many Chinese shrines, which are especially important every October during the annual Phuket Vegetarian Festival which has been a Phuket tradition since 1825.

Layan Beach, Phuket

Beaches

Most visitors come to Phuket for the beach, and Phuket does have rather a lot of very nice stretches of sand. Pretty much every beach in Phuket is on the west coast, stretching some 45km from Mai Khao beach in the north to Rawai in the South.

The 3 main tourist beaches of Patong, Karon & Kata are in the southern part of the island. Away from these beaches there are some very secluded spots and many beaches that are largely still undeveloped. Some have just a few hotels or resorts, most have long stretches of un crowded fine white sand. Why not include a stop at one of them in your tours around the island.

Kathu Waterfall, Phuket

Waterfalls

Don't expect too much from Phuket's waterfalls. Some guide books and online guides suggest fantastic jungle cascades etc... well, not really.

Nevertheless, there are several small waterfalls such as Ton Sai waterfall, Bang Pae waterfall and Kathu waterfall and they do serve to get you some fresh air, a bit of jungle time and some exercise. Simply a nice stop on your island tour.

Thalang National Museum

Museums

If you'd like to learn more about Phuket's and Thailand's history than include a visit at one of Phuket's Museums into your tours.

The Thalang National Museum, the Tin Mining Museum, the Thai Hua Museum and the Philatelic Museum are all interesting. Also worth a visit is the Phuket Butterfly Garden and Insect World. There is something for everyone and it's always a good option if the sun is not shining in Phuket.

Koh Yao Yai - Treasure Island near Phuket

Near by Islands and Places

Staying in Phuket - No need to limit yourself to the confines of the island. Within a couple hours drive or boat ride are some amazing places.

Phuket has many beautiful areas, but just off the island are the amazing limestone karsts of Phang Nga and Phi Phi, and the huge Khao Sok National Park. We can arrange tours to all of them. Just ask us.

Do you have a special place you would like to see on your tour around the island? Drop us a line and tell us where and what you would like to do. Just E-Mail us and we will send you the details.
