Bus and Ferry Transport from and to Koh Samui
The Lomprayah high speed catamaran is the fastest ferry to/from Koh Samui.
You can island hop by ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan, then to Koh Tao and then onto Chumporn on the mainland. From Chumporn you travel north by coach to Hua Hin and Bangkok
Or you can take the ferry from Koh Samui to Donsak pier in Surat Thani for transfers to south Phuket, Phi Phi, Krabi, Koh Lanta and Haad Yai. From Surat Thani train station you can get trains north to Bangkok or south to Malaysia.
